STREET STYLE: THE GOTH FASHION

‘Grunge goth with a twist’
RARA AZMAN, 23 is a sales promoter at I-Socks store. According to her, her look is original and it's not a copycat of another. Rara’s big nerdy specs was bought at Deeper and Harder, the fur jacket is from her mother’s wardrobe, while the flare skirt and pink belt is from the I-Socks store itself. The eye-catching pink belt complimented her whole outfit pretty well.

‘An everyday goth’
AISYAH MALIK, 18 is also a sales promoter at I-Socks store. Aisyah’s black pants is from FOS and the printed t-shirt is from Topshop. See how she effortlessly wears the printed t-shirt while still maintains the goth look. The black pearl necklace and black bracelet is her sister’s, which she bought in Bangkok. Her slippers from Crocs give a sense of ‘I don’t care’ vibe to her goth look.

‘Amy Lee (Evanescence) meets simplicity’
HANAH SERENA, 20 is a professional baking student at Food Institute of Malaysia. Hanah's top is from Sungei Wang, the skinny jean is from Forever 21, and she purchased her high-cut boots from an online boutique. I love how she paired up her all-black outfit with her brother's skull tie and a fishnet hand stocking on her right hand. Lastly, her heavy ‘smokey eye’ make-up adds a nice touch to her overall look.

‘A cross between Elegant and Goth’
FARAH RABIYA, 20 is studying tourism at UITM Shah Alam. Farah’s black and white dress is from Forever 21, the black blazer is from a bazaar at Curve and her shoes are from Cotton On. I particularly love how she rocks her look with that rocker necklace of hers, which she bought at Time Square. This accessory is the perfect example of why the necklace should always be an essential piece in a goth's wardrobe.
